Chapter 5 

My hair was disheveled and I was panting, roaring desperately. 

I thought, maybe I really have gone crazy, but that’s good. Being crazy won’t be so painful. 

A hint of regret appeared on Jasper’s face. 

After a long silence, he spoke cautiously. 

“Olivia… I’m sorry… I’m sorry… I really didn’t know our son would have an accident, I-” 

I stopped laughing crazily and looked at him coldly as if he were a monster. 

“No need, just get a divorce. You can live happily

with your dear lover and your son, the dog.” 

After saying that, I went downstairs with determination. 

I never want to see these two bastards again. 

I wanted to leave here. I didn’t want to be reminded of anything. 

I didn’t want to think of the days when my son and I depended on each other, which had all been ruined by the man in front of me. 

I wish this scumbag and his lover, with the dog that shared my son’s name, a lifetime of happiness. 

I wouldn’t be involved in their lives.

Transformer that Victoria threw down the stairs 

in my arms. 

That was the first toy that Jasper bought for Andrew on his first birthday. 

I remember clearly how Andrew looked at the toy and, for the first time, clearly said. “dad.” 

Jasper was also delighted at that time. 

Ultimately, his love for Andrew was fleeting.

Jasper left our boy behind countless times to see Victoria. 

When Andrew saw him coming back, he no longer opened his little arms to greet him. When he suddenly wanted to hug Andrew, Andrew twisted his body and refused firmly. 

Andrew couldn’t speak much yet, but he understood so many things.

Countless days and nights of being abandoned by Jasper, I got through it with our son. My son had asked me this many times with a look of grievance on his face. “Mom, why doesn’t dad ever take me to kindergarten or come to my parent–teacher meetings? The other kids say I don’t have a dad and won’t play with me. Can you ask dad to accompany me once?”

What did Jasper do? He said that Victoria cut her finger while cooking. 

He was accompanying her to the emergency room in the hospital and blamed me for disturbing him for such a small matter.

But my sensible and lovely little baby died at such a young age.
