Chapter 120 Bastard
Abigail closed her eyes, giving up on struggling altogether. She had long since stopped struggling anyway. It was useless as she couldn’t get away anyway. If she kept struggling, she was sure he would
torment her even more.
Sleepiness overtook her, and she closed her eyes.
Stephen’s kisses trailed to her ear. Watching her close her eyes, his expression became more complex and deep. The water on his body had turned to sweat.
Looking at Abigail’s lips that were swollen from his kisses, he suddenly grasped her chin and kissed her deeply.
Just as Abigail managed to fall asleep, he woke her up again. “You bastard,” she muttered, trying to push him away but failing.
Stephen kissed harder, as if trying to merge her into his body. It seemed like to him, she would no longer say things that angered him or constantly talk about divorce if he did that.
The next day when Abigail woke up, Stephen was nowhere to be seen. The chaotic memories of the previous night lingered in her mind. She turned over, frowning.
Her whole body ached, and she felt awful. That bastard!
Cursing silently, Abigail got up and washed up after a while. She was having toast for breakfast when her phone rang. Seeing that it was a call from Eloise, she answered and put it on speaker. “Hello?”
“Abbie, wanna go shopping?” Eloise asked.
“I don’t have the energy for shopping!” ALT
“What happened?”
Abigail sighed before replying, “Maybe I’ll be in the mood a few days later.”
Her vague answer piqued Eloise’s curiosity. “Did you meet up with a young man last night? Abbie, did you finally let loose? Tell me, how was he? Was he good in bed?”
Abigail scoffed. “He’s definitely a man, and he’s someone you know.”
Eloise stopped laughing, her tone turning serious. After cursing for a moment, she said, “Look, try to think positively. At least you enjoyed yourself, right?”
Abigail didn’t reply.
Eloise continued, “This means you should definitely go shopping. Let’s go for a spa treatment and buy some stuff. Women should always pamper themselves.”
After a moment’s thought, Abigail agreed, “Fine, come pick me up.”
“Got it.”
After meeting up, they went to a beauty salon and got a full
treatment. Abigail left feeling rejuvenated.
Holding her arm, Eloise said, “He really is an animal. You’re all bruised.
“Let’s not talk about unhappy things. Today’s shopping spree is on me!” Abigail declared.
“Abbie, you’re the best!” Eloise exclaimed.
They headed to a jewelry store, thinking it was a good way to spend money. Upon spotting a pink diamond necklace, Eloise’s eyes lit up. Abbie, look at this. Isn’t it beautiful? t’ll suit you perfectly!”
Abigail walked over and also admired the necklace. “Can I have a look at this?”
“Of course,” the sales assistant replied, taking out the tray. The next second, a hand moved the tray away.
“Stephen, what do you think of this necklace? I like it.” Candace’s voice came.
Abigail and Eloise turned to see Candace and Stephen entering the store. Candace tried on the necklace, looking at Stephen expectantly.
