Chapter 125 Cursing His Ancestors
Justin was startled and quickly withdrew his hand. “What’s with that look? What’s wrong? You want to sign with my company too?”
Stephen coldly stared at the two people on stage before shifting his gaze to the booth in the front row. “Ryan.”
Ryan immediately stepped forward, replying, “Yes, Mr. Lockhart.”
Stephen instructed coldly, “Eloise is here. Bring her to the private
room.” With that, he headed toward the stairs on the side.
Nodding, Ryan walked toward the booth in the front row.
Justin was left feeling puzzled. “What’s going on? Who’s Eloise? Why do you want her? Stephen, don’t just walk away. Answer me!” he exclaimed.
Eloise was clapping the hardest among the spectators. Her voice was, hoarse from shouting, her face full of excitement. It was amazing! When Hugh and Abigail danced together, it seemed like their souls. were in sync. She totally shipped this couple.
At that moment, a young man with a blank expression approached her. “Ms. Smith, Ms. Lloyd is waiting for you backstage.”
Puzzled, Eloise asked, “Why did she go backstage?”
The young man shook his head. “I don’t know”
Eloise stood up. “Alright, take me there.”
Ryan led her upstairs. As soon as they ascended, the noise from
below seemed to be cut off. Rows of private rooms appeared before them.
Eloise hesitated, her eyes showing a hint of caution. “This doesn’t
look like the backstage.” After saying that, she turned to leave, but Ryan quickly grabbed her arm and opened the door to a private room. He promptly dragged her inside.
When Abigail returned, Eloise was nowhere to be found, so she took out her phone and called her.
Hugh walked over. He had taken off his jacket after the dance, revealing his muscular arms in a black tank top.
Eloise wasn’t answering her phone, which caused Abigail to furrow
her brows. Was Eloise in the bathroom and missed her call?
Seeing the confusion on her face, Hugh asked, “What’s wrong?”
Abigail replied, “Eloise is missing.”
He said, “Let’s go to the security room and check the surveillance.”
Abigail shot him a look of gratitude. “Thank you so much.”
Smiling, Hugh replied, “No need to thank me. We’re friends now, aren’t
we?”
“Yes.” Abigail nodded.
The two then went to the security room to check the surveillance footage near where Eloise had been sitting. Upon seeing Ryan,
Abigail’s expression immediately took an icy edge. It was Stephen’s subordinate who had taken Eloise away.
Was Stephen planning to retaliate against Eloise for Candace’s sake? No way! Abigail couldn’t let that happen.
She took out her phone and looked at the number that had been blocked. Biting her lip, she eventually unblocked it and dialed the number.
After three rings, the call was declined. Abigail called once more, and it was declined once more. It wasn’t until the fifth call that it was
answered.
In her mind, Abigail had already used up all the profanities she knew to curse Stephen. However, she tried to keep her tone calm as she asked him, “Stephen, did you take Eloise? Where did you take her?”
Stephen’s deep and magnetic voice came through. “A12.” With that, he hung up.
Abigail closed her eyes, struggling to control her emotions.
Hugh asked, “Stephen took Eloise?”
After letting out a deep exhale, she looked at him and said, “Mr. Style, I know where she is now. I’ll go look for her. Thank you for your help. You can go back to your business.”
