Chapter 134 How Am I Shameless for Kissing My Wife
Stephen cast a cold glance at Eloise, making her feel a chill run up her spine. She instinctively looked away.
His cold gaze then shifted to Hugh but only briefly. Turning to Abigail, he asked, “Is it appropriate to bring a stranger to my home without my permission?”
Although she was infuriated, Abigail could only laugh. “This is my home. Why would I ask for your permission to bring friends over?”
Stephen casually put his hands in his pockets, maintaining a cold and aloof demeanor. “Are we divorced yet?”
Abigail pressed her lips together, and Stephen continued, “Since we’re not divorced, you’re still my wife. Your house is considered marital property, which means it’s mine too.”
Struggling to control her temper, Abigail said coldly, “Do you really want me to be blunt about this?”
Stephen had a smirk on his face as he replied, “Are you planning to argue with me in front of others? Do you really want to air our private matters in front of everyone?”
Abigail was speechless. How shameless! So, he still acknowledged that they were married?
Eloise was unable to hold back and said, “If you weren’t such a scumbag, who knows who Abbie would be married to now?”
“Oh, really?” Stephen’s tone grew colder.
Abigail sensed danger and wanted to respond, but Stephen suddenly grabbed her and pulled her in front of him before kissing her fiercely. Abigail was shocked, her eyes flying wide open.
Eloise pointed at Stephen in disbelief. “You… You’re shameless!”
After forcefully kissing Abigail, Stephen looked at Eloise with a smirk. “How am I shameless for kissing my wife?”
“You…” Eloise was so enraged that she couldn’t speak.
Abigail shoved him away and vigorously wiped her lips with the back of her hand. “What is wrong with you!”
Stephen watched her with darkened eyes. He suddenly turned to
Hugh and asked, “Since you’re here, Mr. Style, would you like to come in and have a seat?”
Hugh replied with a mischievous smile, “Since you’ve invited me, I certainly wouldn’t mind having a seat, Mr. Lockhart.”
Abigail’s heart sank as she remembered that last night, Stephen had warned her to stay away from Hugh. But today, he was inviting Hugh into the house? Something was definitely wrong.
She quickly turned to Hugh and said, “Actually, it isn’t very convenient today. Maybe you should head back?”
Hugh smiled at her. “It’s alright.”
But Abigail insisted, saying, “It’s not.”
Hugh raised an eyebrow. Eloise sensed something was off and said, Mr. Style, let’s arrange another day for this. We should leave now.”
Abigail immediately shot Eloise a grateful look. Friends really did
have your back. Seeing Abigail’s earnest look, Hugh nodded and said, Alright. If you need anything, just call me.” With that, he and Eloise left. together.
Once they entered the elevator, Abigail finally relaxed. However, the next moment, her collar was yanked,
Stephen grabbed her by the collar and dragged her into the house

After closing the door, he pushed her against the door.
His handsome face was now shadowed with a cold expression. Abigail, do you treat my words lightly?”
Abigail was still fuming and pushed against him. “Are your words law? Why should I listen to you?”
Amused by her reaction, Stephen let out a cold laugh. His eyes were filled with dangerous intent. “This is your own doing.”
Stephen took long strides toward her, bent down, and threw her over his shoulder. He then headed toward the bedroom.
