Chapter 14: Betrayal
After John had asked me to move in with him, I had to call Leila. I called her at John’s mansion and she finally answered.
“Hey, girl. How the hell are you?” Leila answered.
“Girl, I am great. Just wait until I tell you all about this trip!” I replied.
“What? What is the good news?” Leila asked in an excited voice.
“First, let me start by saying, I’m not coming back to Nebraska. Don’t tell my parents or Sam yet, will tell them. Okay? I said.
“Wait, do you mean you’re staying in NY forever? And I won’t tell them, that’s up to you to tell them,” Leila replied.
“Thank you. Second, I’m living with the richest man in NY and he is my modeling CEO. We stumbled across each other and instantly we felt something. Then he asked me out on a date and then found out I was his model interview the next day!” I said.
“Oh my gosh, that does sound amazing! Sounds like you really made it big in the big apple so far. I want to come to visit you soon!” Leila replied.
“Yes. So far, so good. And you can come anytime, John lives in a mansion and he has tons of room for ya. He wouldn’t mind if you stayed here,” I said.
“Sounds good to me! I will let you know when I can come to

visit,” Leila said.

“Okay, girl. Well, I gotta go get ready for work. Big Shoot today,” I replied.
We hung up the phone and I had to get ready for the shoot today with Brad. He had told me that it was going to be a big shoot, but he did not tell me what the shoot was for.
Just before I was out the door, my mom called me. I answered because I knew what she wanted to talk about. I answered.
“Hello,” I hurried and said.
“OMG, Star. I’m glad I got a hold of you. Where the hell are you?” My mom asked.
“Why? Why do you want to know?” I asked my mom.
“Star, you’re my daughter and I love you,” Mom said.
“I love you to mom, but If I tell you where I am and what I am doing you and dad will betray me,” I said.
“Star, we only want the best for you and that’s it. So, where are you?” Mom asked.
“Mom! Hold on a sec,” I replied.
I had to stop and think for a moment, about whether I wanted to tell her or not. If I’d told her, what could she possibly do? I’m old enough to do what I want. I thought.
“I’m in New York!” I said.
“WHAT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING THERE?” Mom asked.

“I’m modeling. And I’m doing great!” I replied.
“You need to get your butt home. You should not be doing this modeling thing. It is not good for you!” Mom said.
“Mom, I’m doing this and I’m not coming back. Get that through your head. I’ve even found a man here,” I replied.
“I can’t believe this! I can’t believe what you’re doing, wait until I tell your father about this. And another thing, if you’re not going to change, don’t even come back here!” Mom said.
I hung up on her. I couldn’t listen to what she was saying to me anymore. She’s just so mean, she has no idea of how happy I am, and especially that I met John. I’m done with her, and maybe even my dad. I’m not sure if my dad will think of me the same way as she does, but I’ll talk to him later after I get done with my photo shoot. I’m not going to get any more frustrated than I already am.
After arriving at work, Brad gave me a couple of bathing suits to put on. He wants me to model in bathing suits today. I thought, “this should be fun!” So, I changed into the red bikini that he gave me. After walking out of the dressing room and into Brad’s room, he stood there and stared at me. I looked at him and said, “why are you staring at me?” “You just look so damn sexy,” Brad replied. It felt weird that he said that to me, but I blew it off because he probably says this to all his models. So, we shot for a couple of hours in three different bikinis that were different colors. I had no idea that he wanted to get these shots of me to get me on the cover of the swimsuit magazine! I’m sure I’ll make it on the cover with my looks!
When we finished with the shoots, I went to John’s office. But I left one of the bikinis on underneath a white robe, I wanted to

surprise John and give him a peek at my body. While standing in front of John’s desk, I opened my robe and let it drop to the floor. I was already half–naked, so John took his clothes off and we made love in his office on the floor. We had sex for hours and it was the best sex I’ve ever had. I could do this every day with John. I’m just so turned on by his long, brown, wavy hair that flows and his hunk of a body is irresistible.
This is what takes my frustration away from my parent and if they want to betray me, then they can. I don’t care enough. anymore, I’m living a way better life now!
I’m not even going to call my dad, I’m sure my mom is going to tell him about the phone call earlier.
I’m staying with John and doing what I’m meant to be doing, (modeling) and no one is going to stop me. And Sam, I’ll just ignore him, he means nothing to me.
